The Adopt-A-Highway program allows individuals, families, and organizations to take responsibility for keeping a designated stretch of roadway clean and cared for, helping preserve the natural beauty of our communities.

​

This Adopt-A-Highway location is a stretch of Farm-to-Market road in East Texas leading to one of Kylie Pope’s favorite places in Nogalus Prairie, affectionately called “McComb Country” by Kylie and her family. The area was deeply meaningful to Kylie and reflects her love for the land and the quiet beauty of East Texas.

Each year, family and friends gather along this roadway to clean and care for it, coming together in remembrance and service. Through this ongoing effort, Kylie’s love for East Texas lives on—reflected in the care, pride, and community spirit shown along this special stretch of road.
